depends if we are going for contemporary stuff, and if we want musicians that actually specialise in acoustic music or whether bands that have done some one off acoustic sessions would also be acceptable...

i would go for some:

nick drake
bob marley
bob dylan
tom waits maybe

but then again i have some good radiohead acoustic sessions as well...
red house paineters
phil collins?

dunno really,
or do any of you guys play any instruments or in any bands at all? might as well promote ourselves

im not in a band, wish it could have been part of a band, but its no possibla. Nah not just musicians who specialise in only acoustic, we can have a variety of stuff new and old, most acoustic would have bass in background to help it along, so i think perhaps, "no eletricity needed" should be removed, other wise we'll be limited on choice.

one that would be awesome is hong kong by gorillaz, although that was already on the help-a day in the life, war child album...
